Description
The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) is the longest-running and largest book fair in the Philippines, tracing its roots back to the early 1980s. Originally conceived as a platform to promote reading culture and support the local publishing industry, the fair quickly grew into a national institution.
Since Primetrade Asia, Inc. took over the reins more than 35 years ago, MIBF has evolved into a premier literary and educational event, drawing over 160,000 visitors annually and featuring 200+ local and international exhibitors. Under Primetrade’s stewardship, the fair has expanded its reach, embraced digital formats, and introduced new features such as author signings, rights meetings, and educational technology showcases.
